This course is right for your child if you notice the following:
-They have consistent sound errors (i.e., say their S and TH wrong, etc.)
-They are hard to understand
-They are motivated by engaging, playful, virtual learning.
-They are already in school-based or private-based therapy and you want to add supplemental practice or learn how to help them at home.
-They have a Speech Sound Disorder.
This course may NOT be a good fit if:
-They have many inconsistent errors.
-They have errors with their vowel sounds (a,e,i,o,u).
-They are so difficult to understand that you cannot pin point what sounds they need help with.
-They have a severe motor speech disorder (apraxia), or a phonological disorder (patterns of errors - i.e., omitting the first sound of all words) that hasn't been evaluated or treated by a professional. Note: If they are diagnosed and you have/are receiving support, this can still act as a positive supplement for your child.
-If the above applies to you, please seek evaluation and support from your local Speech Language Pathologist.
